About Wings of Prey, I think it first depends very much on what experience you're after, and second what you make it.
It has beautiful smooth graphics, very decent flight models (originally licensed from IL2 but since then much improved), and a much improved MP (stability) since the latest update. Engine and systems management is very light, the flying experience can be very good nevertheless if you do not rely on the game's rather limited MP modes (e.g. respawn points are too close). If you decide to get it, perhaps you'd like to check out our Club which flies the game at it's highest difficulty and with special setups:
