@Granamyr Hm , i wouldnt call it simply polished. It look there are lots of new units, so i hope they have new skills not just old skills/units in new models. Also no more rage spirits/pet dragon but new runic magic, so i expect it same use of rage in battles, maybe different mechanics but influenced by amount of runes you have accumulated like for runic mage/mystic passive abilities bonuses.
Great idea for new item upgrading system, something like runic staff from red sands mod, or trigger companion unit bonus. I have no idea how to make such item, but it sure can be done.
Also i would like to see choice skill/medal tree. like you pick some ksill and unlock other 2, then pick 1 of those and so forth but picking 1 way of upgrading locks other so you have to choose your build carefully and in advance plan how to play (save game in critical skill choices if want to try later different build), or something similar for medals - when you get some medals to certain lvl you unlock others, as it was in ap/cw we could build guardian angel to max lvl with archamage cheat in less then 20 battles, trapper medal with inquisitor cheat, treasure searcher with kiting . . . So if you want to play as was planed you develop hero in that order, of if some ppl want to rush through game that can be done also, but with some penalties. It players choice what to do.
Also change cap for attack/defense stats, intellect have no maximum for bonus spell dmg/duration, so why is there max for att/def stats. Bladeking here made something i asked him to try and it works great, so something like this could be implemented in new game, check his last post on page :

I playedf bunch of mods for this game, and must say there are great ideas ppl added in their mods, so i at least hope that game developers check this forum for some ideas of what players want in game. If not were all f...d
