The response time compensation/acceleration can have a negative effect when it overshoots, and sometimes you can see
less motion blur with RTC/RTA disabled; the RTC/RTA error manifests itself like a motion blur that happens in... advance! (as opposite to the usual thing that you see, namely a trail that's left behind).
