It seems that war movies without love in them only attract males or overwhelmingly male whereas a guy can at least lure his date to see it with him if it has a love story.
However there is hope. Seems there is a group of people alive and well on Youtube that dedicate themselves to taking these movies and painstakingly go through them and cut out all the mush and they've created a whole genre called all war no love.
They have these up there and some hour and a half flix are pared down to half hour or less. All action no love.
I think 12 o'clock high is up there and I think it's only 18 minutes long.
