Bomber defensive measures
Reading about Battle of Britain, I came across this Intelegence report that I thought might be interesting to people.
"12 July 1940: German aircraft may make greater use of lengths of cable which are released when fighters make stern attack. Possible that aircraft of KG1 are at least equipped with apparatus for this purpose."
