This video show perfectly everything that is wrong with the CLoD 109 gunsight.
Notice the need to zoom in with straps off (or whatever) in order to use it. Zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out, zoom in, zoom out. I think if you ever dogfight against a competent human spitfire in flat/rolling scissors in close proximity, he will eat you for lunch Mr. X. because he will have trackir/freetrack and no need to waste time zooming in and zooming out. While you are spending time zooming in and zooming out and trying to find him from you lost peripheral vision, he will already have you because he doesn't have to do that zoom in/zoom out like you do.
