Sorry, I was wrong with the 2gb 580, of course it's 1.5gb and yes the EVGA gtx570 has 2560mb of vram.

However, I would recommend a gtx580 with 3gb of vram as well........right now if money isn't an issue.......in a year or so when the 580s are second best. I do never buy the best out on the market, since after a relatively short time something better will come out, and the state of the art card I just bought drops dramatically in price.
If you buy "second best" you should always be in good shape and save quite a substantial amount of money. Still got some bills to pay and a family to feed. I have told the power company so many times already, power my house for free, I need a new video card, but they just don't want to listen
