HL will automatically minimise & IL2 will automatically start & you (the mission host) can then select the mission you want to play. Your mate's game will automatically load with the mission you selected.
(2) Load a game yourself, get your mate to go to multiplayer-connect & type in your direct IP address to connect to your game.
No. You don't have to send him a copy of the mission. When he connects to your game (as above) the mission is automatically downloaded to his computer.
FMB missions can be saved into a folder in the coop section or into a folder in the net-dogfight sections of your missions folder structure. Have a look at the missions-folder structures in windows explorer. You can copy missions from folder to folder using the standard windows copy-paste method, just remember that every mission has two file; one called MyMission.mis & another called MyMission.properties.

Great, thanks for this Salmo, didn't realise point 2, via the IP address.
I think he also has issues with his firewall settings and has to disable them every time we play online. Not sure why but we can both play on servers but it just wouldn't allow him to join a game hosted by me
His flight skills are immproving, just need to help him on his targetting, so need a co-op with unlimited ammo.
Thanks again for your help mate...will give this a go tonight.
