You need to apply all patches consecutivly (4.08, 4.09, 4.10, 4.101)
and make backups in between!
- IL-2 1946 in the box is 4.07
- The patch 4.08 is on the CD/DVD
- Theres a post in another thread with links to 4.09, 4.10, and 4.101 (here)
