As I said, you may have high FPS (frame change is smooth, FPS counter shows high numbers), but
controls feels like it is 15fps only (ala "keyboard" effect). This happens for me only in MP, and usually only when lagging plane is nearby. It is almost like game slows down your FM, so that to keep it in sync with other lagging player.
