Try to shoot for a second before taking off or before attacking the bombers: sometimes this stutter is a sound stutter, caused by loading the gun soundfile from HD for the 1st time. Once in RAM this stutter disappears. It happened to me in old IL-2 when I had a damm SB Live! sound card.
