the opinions go to two sides.... but its a fact that the head shaking was not such hard in reallife...

to the video of the p-51 flight, you can clearly see that the pilote is not shaking at all even at the turns and roll... (you have to watch the pilote and not the camera itself....)


fact is that the shaking is to strong. those old ww2 planes were not able to roll fast enough to let your head bumping into the canopy. and also keep in mind that the pilote knows when he begins to roll, so he will hold against the g-forces preventing him from hard shaking
