Id definitly upgrade to windows 7 64bit. Only thing I would check though is if you have any special or specific hardware that you are using currently to make sure that they make windows 7 drivers and check to make sure those drivers are working from forums ect. There is still a few hardwares out there that either doesnt have no windows 7 drivers or the the windows 7 drivers dont work good at all.
