So we all read Luthier saing that the only sound sample to make it from the original IL2 series was the sound from flicking a cockpit switch. What we have also all heard, is the '109, JU87 and Hurricane having stock IL2 engine sounds. Now how is this possible? Was the Russian version shipped without proper engine sounds? Also, the external sound of the G50 has a very noticable looping characteristic about it:
