Or, if you wanna cheat, just shoot a short brust near the unknown plane and examine it from the target camera that open at bottom right of the screen, lol  ( don't do that, it's a joke ) |
Yes silhouettes are a good to know but somtimes you have some of the same planes on both sides best way is to visualy ID the targets color. back in the day guns were ranged at about 100 yards were the rounds would cross. wing mates are a problem and that is why you have yours to get behind you the target must be infront of your wing mate.
