You say you cannot dock with the station. Is the game actually preventing you from doing so? E.g. you select mothership, then rightclick on Grid Station. Does the blue docking line not appear? Do you get a message saying anything? When exactly are you attempting to do this, i.e. what is your current quest? What was the last conversation dialog you had, and with whom? This is tied to the previous event with Handers, did you opt to save him or not?

Yes, the game is not letting me dock with the station, I have tried a reload from a previous save, same deal. Yes, I'm getting the blue docking line, yes my mothership moves into docking position at the station, but no dialogs appear nor does a request to dock. I'm on the mission where I have to contact Carl at Grid Station in Elio System in order to change my mothership ID from mastiff, to something non-pirate. Last conversation was between pirates and traders in the system prior to entering Elio system. I killed the pirates and saved both transports.
