Nearmiss - I think the IL-2 online dogfight community probably underestimate how many people enjoy IL-2 in other ways. As for not flying coops, why not? Even if you don't want to make a serious commitment, dropping in on the Ubizoo Saturday coop once or twice might broaden your horizons - we do this for fun, remember.  |
As a way of illustration - there is a New Zealand squad that fly coops almost exclusively, in sorties lasting up to an hour* - and they don't even have a presence on Hyperlobby.
That's a way of enjoying the game that I think the 'online dogfighting community' probably never even knew existed.
*Imagine crashing on takeoff on that sortie.......
