Same problems here with new system P55-G65 and Ati HD5770.
Cat drivers 9.8 supplied on CD and downloaded 9.10.
9.8 random crashes and 9.10 menu/font/colour problems as described before.
Only game i play on this system: IL2
Older system has (and had) NVidia Cards and never had problems with it.
Hope there will be a solution soon.
