A friend and former luftwaffe pilot flew those nothing but "DESPERATE ATTACKS" against HUGE BOMBER FORMATIONS well proctected by FIGHTER ESCORT. He told me, 1944 /1945 the luftwaffe has lost already many well trained fighter pilots. He and his few left comrades they could not get even near the BOMBER FORMATIONS anymore. For that reason they used rockets, to tear apart the formations but never ever against a lone plane !!!

As I stated no axis fighters in BOP have rockets of any description, so unless you are flying allied aircraft against each other this scenario should not arise. If you are flying allied aircraft against each other then where does history come into the equation?
