If they want to boost sales for a sequel they repackage the game depending on country.

in the UK they should name the game after the Spitfire. in the US thy should name it after the MUSTANG. etc.

that way the game would sell more copies.
If you think BOP is slow here, you should look at the Russian BOP forums. It finally dawned on me that there's no Russians here cause they're on their non-latin forum, so I went and found it... and there is not even 1 page of topics. You can see the latest threads, all the way back to the in-development threads, all on one short list.

But IL-2 Sturmovik is a name that has been heard by everyone who flies flight sims... on PC it is huge. Better to call it IL-2 Sturmovik than something like, idn, Heroes over Europe? Spits n' Schmitts? 'Canes, Mustanes, and other Planes... Run n' Gun Fun P51... Yak Attack...

There was a good turn-based game from the '90's called Achtung Spitfire... that is a great name for a ww2 air battle game.

Wings of Prey is an alternate, bad translation of the Russian title, Крылатые Хищники, which literally means "Winged Predators."

Like many of the PSN trophy names, and the cutscene narration, it looks like they didn't have a native English speaker to vet the translations... They got it right the first time with Birds of Prey, Wings of Prey sounds funny.
