Done and done
When my X52 broke I used a 360 gamepad (with a keyboard for functions not essential for fighting) for a while in 1946, online and offline, and while I can't vouch for the competence of my opponents
I did get a fair number of kills online and a nearly 2:1 Kill/Death ratio.
