Still you got a point....SWOTL got an awesome camera mode, so you could tape your dogfights and later on look at them from any angle and also have a look at at the action going on around you.
What was nice too: It had some kind of role playing elements too. You could build your own character, fly with it for some time until it had reached a certain level of experience or become an ace and then have him flying as part of your squadron as a wingman. Even though the AI was not the smartest, you could feel and see a difference of their flight experience.
I have Swotl and BoB still running on an old PC just if I feel like playing it from time to time. Believe me...for the flight experience I would choose BoP or 1946 over SWOTL every time.
