I stumbled into one of those sim matches too (think I saw Seraphim in there?) My first go at sim mode, and flew around 3/4 of the match just trying to find the fight lol! Chased somebody else a bit only to find they were on my team, and only saw one enemy to get a shot at (and was shot down once). Did a few 1v1 and 1v2 matches (actually won one while outnumbered!
). That was a lot more fun then I thought sim would be. I do miss the 'lock head to target mode' as that is what you'd do in real life, but I don't mind the arrows not being there.
Only real problem is the planes are tiny, and the brightness of the sky (especially the hazey levels) "washes out" the airplanes so I can't see them at a distance. I drive by an airport daily, and can spot a Cessna well over a mile out on a clear day, but in the game you don't see them until you are right on top of them. Any way to adjust that? I'll tinker with the brightness a bit.
