Crashing in realistic and sim mode

Just want to apologize to those that dont get kills when I crash in realistic and sim mode arena's. I NEVER do it on purpose. It is always the result of someone filling me full of holes. I will try to stay in the air as long as possible for you to finish me off when all hope is lost for survival.

Hopefully this gets addressed soon, but I just wanted to make it clear.

Good Hunting to all,

Ax

if you can't help it, you can't help it. not your problem if their aim sucks.;):-P

No, it's the deadzone's fault.

It's not the deadzone's fault if you are playing with a gamepad.

pff, yesterday I actually bailed out to give someone a kill and it just said I crashed...

Actually this is funny as hell because sometimes a player will manage to shoot your elevator out while diving and yet no credit when you plow into the ground.

Even funnier when the person that killed you still freaks and calls you names bc you denied him a kill.

I'm sure I'll do the same thing a few times when my area finally gets IL2 delivered. So here's my apology in advance.

Top stuff axhat, I do the same - it's actually a little bit of fun trying to keep the crate in the sky when your engines stopped working and one wing's torn to shreds :).

I do the same too! Every IL I fly is a beacon of hope for the Soviet people. Therefore, every IL lost is a tear shed by our glorious comrade Stalin. I will keep my bird up and spread the wings of communism for as long as she holds. Which, if you've ever tried to zero in on an IL...is a pretty long time. Especially if that tail gunner is trained on you. And if they shoot out your engines and you still kill them, you're the world's best fighter glider for about thirty five seconds!

I do the same, I've done everything in my power to keep a wounded bird in the air to ensure who ever has rendered me useless gets their kill. As for your comrade Stalin I also do everything in my power to down as many bolshevik drones as possible in order to save True Europe from the communist disease that is spreading from the East. I was able once to ram a Yak who entered a barrel roll with my critcially damaged 109, while clutching my Knights Cross my thoughts drifted to Bavaria as my engine block passed through his cockpit and on to Valhalla. Wir toten euch alle ihre bolshevik schweine!!!
