Thrustmaster Hotas X Controller view ?

SO i got this game last night,
first of all want to thank the company for an AMAZING flight SIM i love the game to death and im very happy its on PS3 to.

I bought my Flight stick not long ago. its a Thrustmaster Hotas X ,
but when i go to where the controller layout is , it does not show any button overview? its all blank page.
Only the dualshock shows the button views.
Is this right or is my game faulted ? as I have rented the game from lovefilms in UK i dont get the manual, so its really frustrating, as I want to try different control layouts.

Also i played the first IL2 flight mission where you had to bomb the ground, my flight stick stoped workin, just suddenly, i think i pressed some multiple buttons at the same time on it , nto sure but i had to restart the mission.

anyone had this issue ?

THanks for an awesome game anyway, looks good plays Good, I will buy it cus i want it my self .

I posted those links on the ps3 browser. It just enabled you to do that after the most recent firmware update. It's just for simulator mode though.

ah nice one cheers.

I also noticed when i used the "gun view" , in analog you use the right analog for the gunner 0,0 , how do you do it for the HOTAS X cheers

*drumroll* You use the hatswitch for it...

AAAND another issue with the T master! really i can't shoot FA with a hatswitch..it jerks about like it's going out of style..plus you have to fly the plane in backward view...not very fun imo

I'm having trouble with my Thrustmaster HOTAS X.

It worked the first time I used it and now the PS# doesn't recognise it - I've plugged and unplagged the connection to the USB port - the joystick is set to "PS3" and not "PC".

Any suggestions?

By the way, those Imageshack links above, don't work amymore.

Thanks in anticipation.

yeah, I hated the hatswitch, its just not right. Thats why I recommend (PS3) to use aviator layout, look at my video how easy it is to track your opponent with the ps3 controller. (note: this is in simulation mode but some parts are fast-forwarded)

Match #2 (I use only cockpit view half way through the match)

I know I've seen this video a few times now and I've been meaning to mention that the way kozzmo's yak is moving around the sky, it looks like it's arcade mode on acid how does he get it to handle like that? Control sensitivity 100% maybe? Even so amazing:cool:
