If you already have the game, please post a few words about the game. I will be picking the game up tonight, so I will post my thoughts later.

A bit busy now playing Campaign... But it's amazing. Absolutely wonderful... Greatest flight sim to ever come to consoles.

Still no wheel brake with flight sticks yet though. :(

So, until that gets fixed, when playing "Capture the Airfield" the guys with flight sticks will have to cover the guys with the controllers and let them cap the airfields. Hope a patch for that comes some.

I like it, alot, although it does feel a bit more tame than the demo, i find it much harder to stall, but having said that i think the AI is alot more agressive...was a bit dissapointed that you cant fire cannon or machine gun, you have to use both, but apart from that im liking it. Graphics are superb, although there appears to be alot more slowdown on the retail version than the demo.

Multiplayer seems to be awesome, although i think it will turn alot of people away when they constantly get pwned by someone who actually has a clue about ariel combat [ariel combat? little mermaid? wtf?] but so far so good...although i never noticed, when flying as a bomber do you waist gunners automaticaly target enemys or do you HAVE to control them yourself?

Flying as the 109 in multiplayer i found it incredibly hard, as you have almost no point of reference when looking around the 'virtual' cockpit, no wings, or cockpit framework or anything, and its very difficult to maintain flight and look around in that mode...but dlc hopefully will come soon...was wondering maybe have the 109 cockpit and maybe a few others and just paste them onto all axis planes? screw historic accuracy, i want to be able to fly these birds on simulation without crashing every 30 seconds because i have no point of reference...

BUTTT

AMAZING GAME GUYS, THANKS ALOT!!

Im still trying to understand the problem with no wheel brake...... whats the difference between the stick and the pad?

with the pad once you have hit the deck, when your throttle is at 0% just still hold it back to reduce speed...thus comnig to a halt....

Is this not the same with the stick??

Can someone clear up the issue of whether there are dedicated servers? Thanks in advance.

Or if there is lag?

Oh no !!!

I was just playing the Ps3 Demo (cause my play.com order is still showing as "Packing", for 3 days for some reason, last time I use them) and there is loads of slow down and tearing.

I was really hoping this would be fixed as it does spoil the game quite a bit. Now you are saying the retail is noticably worse? More intense action going on? Although the 1st level in the demo has a lot going on too.

with a stick I just throw in full rudder and the plane turns around before the end of the runway, thus giving you another full runway length to come to a complete stop.
