Can't start Men of War Single Player..
 

When i try to launch Men of War SP i get this error message;

What is the problem? I run Vista64 with 4 gig ram, quad-core and an Ati 3850 HD.

You played the international beta and assigned a button to your middle interface (round sandbag) launch the beta and remove it.

actually i just downloaded the full game, and i've never touched the beta. but men of war MP works just fine. any clues?

Did you install the multiplayer only patch?

yes i dit. does this matter? from a logical standpoint, i should be able to play single player.

it does, i don't know how or why but the single player missions don't work if you've the patch installed, see here

For what it's worth the DMS forum is a bit better as it has a lot more member

Played my first SP game, can't play any more
 

Hey y'all,

Just bought the game, had trouble starting it until I installed the patch. Now, after playing my first single player game...and quiting, it seems now I cannot play a single game again. I get to the main menu, and 'single game' is unavailable to select. Any ideas?

Do you start the game by clicking on the icon "Men of War (Multiplayer)"? If you do that, then the SP part of the game wont be available due to the fact that you dont need to have your DVD in the drive to play MP. Start Men of War by clicking on the "Men of War" icon and the SP part of the game will be accesseble, but you will also have to have the DVD in the drive.

Hmmm. I only have one icon on my computer for Men of War, and it does not differentiate between SP or MP. I'll try to skin the cat another way. I'm in the UAE, so perhaps my software is a little different.
