RPG Glossary?
 

Has anyone here ever come across a glossary of RPG terms? This is my first RPG forum, so I'm new to a few of the terms, such as "tanker" and "buff/debuff." I've seen others, but I can't think of them at the moment.

What exactly does "tanker" mean? (From context, seems like a troop with strong defense that keeps the enemy busy, freeing troops to attack. Izzat correct?)

Also, what does "buff/debuff" mean?

I don't know of a rpg glossary, but something like that probably does exist.

'Tanker' is as you thought, a tough defensive unit to absorb hits without dying.

Buff/debuff refers to spells that improve the stats of your troops (buff) or reduce the stats of the enemy (debuff).
