After I patched the game this line no longer works

setf ~showflyingdead 1

I'm trying to see creatures killed instead of damage...

US version.

Any help appreciated.

You could provide some more info, like which version you patched the game to and from, and where exactly we can find that line of code.

That line used to be in the game.cfg file (in the atari/kb/data folder).

The patch is 1.65 for the Atari version.

Hrm, my game uses game.ini, not cfg. I haven't tried it but I don't see why it wouldn't work unless the function was removed from the game completely for some reason, but then they would have removed the option also. Either way you see all numbers in the battle log so it's not really essential to your gameplay and I also think that this thread belongs to a different part of the forum like technical support. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I use the 1.65 gamersgate version and that option is working for me. As Keneth said, it goes in game.ini, not game.cfg

Thanks to both, that was the problem. I was modifying the wrong file. The correct file was in my documets/mygames....working now!
