Plague

How come the necromancer gets to cast mass plague, when a hero's plague even on level 3 can still be cast only on one target? It doesn't seem at all fair, heck might as well give the archmage the regular teleportation spell.

Necromancers are more powerful in using black magic than some poor mage ;).

they also cast mass magic shackle ^^ necromancers are massive unit (unlucky me not finding them in my game).

btw cast magic shackle on them at the beginnig of first turn

Metathron 11-14-2008 08:43 PM

I don't think they cast the mass version of magic shackle, at least I've never seen them do it.

kadrzys 11-14-2008 08:55 PM

sorry my bad they' don't:] I faced army with two stacks of Necromancers and they locked my Shamans and Inqs and I fought only one of them casted Magic Shackles but I must be wrong cos I checked while ago and they don't cast mass Magic Shackles.

Smash 11-14-2008 09:02 PM

Casting magic shacle on them is worst scenario you can do because they star mass damaging your units instead of casting spells :/.

Metathron 11-14-2008 09:50 PM

Just how much damage do they do? It hasn't been my impression that they're good damage dealers.

kadrzys 11-14-2008 11:11 PM

well they can be very annoying with they're mass damaging attack but I simply spread my units to avoid it.

MajorS 11-15-2008 03:55 AM

As far as i know they can Magic Shackle Lev 5 troops. And their AoE is pretty impressive against massed troops. I dont like the fact tho that you cant resurrect them and Sacrifice is a pain in the b...

It's probably because the Necromancer's plague affects all units, including friendly ones.
