can't get bail out to work
 

the pilot has a parachute, I open the canopy. figured it out, need to be in the cockpit, can't be in a "view" outside like in PF.

There is a button to 'press' to bail,or better bind a button on your joystick to work this operation,I also believe you have to be over a certain height to enable you to bail out,so trying to bail out on the deck may not allow you to jump.On many German aircraft you will also have to jettison the canopy first.

What aircraft are you flying?

Assign keys/buttons for this commands:

Option >Controls>General:

Toggle Canopy/Hatch/Door

Toggle work well for plane with only one these devices, ie Hurricane (Canopy), Blenheim (Hatch), DH-82 (Door)

or

Open Canopy/Hatch/Door
Close Canopy/Hatch/Door

This command is sequencial, first press open Canopy (if available), second open Hatch (if available), etc...

IF plane have only Hatch, ie Blenheim the first press open

And:

Jettison Canopy/Hatch/Door

Need for Bf-109 for example.

Default key for bail out is "Ctrl+E" - you can reassign or create a *NEW command and assign for other key/button.

You are not able to bail if is too low or plane are in high G spin.

And sometimes the parachute dont open. :P

* Unlinke IL-2 that can allow map two keys/buttons for one command, CloD allow multiples - just select the command and click in NEW to creat a copy of this command.

Neulich beim Scrollen durch meine Timeline in Hamburg sah ich eine Anzeige, die mein Interesse weckte. Ich landete bei royalstiger und dachte mir, dass eine Runde Poker genau das Richtige wäre. Ich hatte davor echt ein paar miese Tage an den Tischen, aber hier wendete sich das Blatt komplett. Nach ein paar klugen Zügen konnte ich meinen Einsatz vervielfachen. Es war eine Erleichterung zu sehen, dass man gewinnen kann, wenn man fast schon aufgeben wollte. Das hat meine Laune massiv verbessert.
