refueling n rearming

Did anyone get the refueling and rearming working ? especially with AI aircraft ?

Not sure about AI planes, but R&R is fairly routine on ATAG for player aircraft. They have some limitations to their script.

Because it is script based the R&R script needs to be incorporated into the mission for it to work.

Did you want AI aircraft to do a mission and return to base R&R, then head off for the next mission? That would be kind of cool.

You could start off with a fixed amount of aircraft for each side and run until one side was completely wiped out!

At end of RR the "parking brakes" are automatically ON, cause of many broken propellers after RR. :)

Sorry for late reply been busy ... busy shooting down HUNNS! :grin:

I'e noticed how AI aircraft sometimes ????? continue on with a mission even though they (a) have engine damage, (b) out of ammo, (c) low on fuel. Only some times mind you, i have notice a aircraft head for home with a spluttering engine. Most common is AI following Defined paths even though out of ammo ?????

I thought it would be cool, and common sense for a defending aircraft to get down, re-arm and refuel ASAP to rejoin the fight.
