Monitor for IL-2

Greetings...

I was thinking about getting a LCD monitor, but last time i looked at them... a few years ago, they couldn't handle the all blue you get up in the sky in IL-2, they started to flicker.

But i'm looking again, but there are no real reviews these days that use IL-2 for monitors, so i'm kinds stuck here... so i come to you seeking help.
I would very much like a Samsung monitor, so if any of you know of a good samsung monitor, would you throw me a yell?

Not samsung but these have a better price and resolution.

When I upgrade I'm personally going for the second model. BTW, my 17" samsung LCD has never had any flickers in this sim or anything else. Hope that helps.

Monitor for IL-2

I am very happy with my 24" BENQ GTG LCD monitor - the colours are fantastic and it has opened-up a whole new IL-2 experience for me - better depth of field, sharper resolution, more realistic cockpits, no blurring - handles very fast movement perfectly etc. I have had no problems running the game on this monitor.

A 22" or 24" widescreen is the bare minimum IMO for ANY monitor upgrade these days. I get a Dell (don't laugh, their monitors are wicked good) or Samsung.

These are both 24" monitors (which is the defacto enthusiast point right now) and offer 1920x1200 native resolution. You don't have to run at that res, but it's nice to have it in the event you want to watch true 1080p HD content.

I have a Dell 2707WFP 27" monitor and run it typically at 1680x1050 for most games and at native 1920x1200 for everything else.
