Thrustmaster t1600m setup

All Pilots, I'm new to Il2 COD sim. I have used this stick for Il2 1946 and worked great. Can you guys inform me if thrustmaster 1600 is compatible with Il2 COD?? If it does could you suggest a fix or feedback on this stick and how you set it up. Thank You.

Hi Christopher,

I have the Thrustmaster TM16000 stick and can confirm thst it works very well with CoD. I have it as a backup now in case my Warthog HOTAS ever packs it in. The TM16000 is very robust, and its X and Y axis use contactless Halls sensors (instead of potentiometers) and are extremely precise in controlling your aircraft. The TM16000 also has a twistgrip rudder, throttle axis, and lots of joystick buttons. Like the Warthog HOTAS, it can also be programmed with Thrustmaster's excellent TARGET software (if you want to), or it can simply be used as "plug 'n play" with Cliffs of Dover. It's excellent value IMHO.

EDIT: Oops! Reread your post and saw you already have one. :)

In True you need reassign axis - for strange reason the confUser.ini from last update
came mapped for Joystick 2!!! Probable the test guy have a stick with ID number above throttle/pedal.

But reassign axis buttons is ease - same procedure of IL2 1946. With advantage that you do this accord your taste.

Although less functional and confused than 1946 GUI, CloD GUI have some nice new features for Controls:

Controls are separated in various tables, like Aircraft, General, Game, View, Camera...

This allow different things, like use the same joystick button to do two or three things at same time, ie. Reset View + Look Front + FOV 70 in just one button.

Or use buttons or keys to momentary use one axis for another function, ie Elevator Axis + key/button = active park brakes (undocumented command, not assignable to key/button).
