List of items to NEVER destroy

- Ink
- Old Shoes
- Clay Pot (helm)
- Werewolf Skin

Anything else?

Is this a joke or do these items have any significance later in the game? (Have yet to complete the game thanks to bugs)

Ink is needed for a quest, as is the werewolf skin. the other two trigger special events (easter eggs, you might say) at some points and can be safely destroyed after those have passed.

the skin can't even be destroyed, as far as I can tell.

I guess it is kinda of spoiler so here the warning:

The Old Shoes needed for getting the Mystrious Parcel. equiq them and talk the Inn Keeper in Arlinia then you get the Mystrious Parcel. The Mystrious Parcel let you buy every troops in the game beside unded, demons and netrual. The only downside is it the cost multiplied by 3 more then the orignal purchase of troops.

The clay pot or bowl is needed in the Dragon Lair in varlon wasterland. When you talk to the dragon when equiqing the clay bowl he talk with you and give you free black dragon egg and you don't have to fight him.

... say what? I don't have to fight him? Oops. I fought for the XP! And not just XP points, but the experience of crashing against ice dragons (and the fun of it!)

That said, I don't think it is a high xp fight so it might be worth a skip that early on! Thanks for the tip! I fought him, then wore the clay pot to get the free egg!

Actually about the dragons it seems it is better to fight them. You may lose some gold (due to the free black dragon egg), but you get tons of XP. Except, if you are in serious need of more black dragons... although a single black dragon cannot really help in this case.

It would've been a no-brainer for me back when Ice Dragons were causing crashes... left the castle out on my first playthrough entirely.

You can do both though, Handel! :) After you beat them, if you go back wearing the clay you can still get the egg.

Probably +20% attack rating... which is garbage.
