Necromancer - Eastern Isles
 

Is there a specific quest to kill this guy in the castle? I was on a roll and just wiped him out and some message come up about him now being dead.....:(

On Western Islands you get the quest from Big Harry's castle ( or what's his name) - you have to beat him before he send you to kill Sirius Pale , the necromancer.

The orc in the fortress on the western island gives you the quest for him.

On my first playthrough I apparently messed it up and killed the Necromancer first before getting the quest from the orc. Main reason being that you need to fight the orc to get the quest, which I found to be considerably harder than fighting the necromancer.

Alas, at least I have the foreknowledge now for next time.

Should have checked back earlier..... :( Does the quest have any good rewards or trigger extra items for sale in the Orc's castle?

think so, but nothing particularly great unless you want to use an orc army. You do get a title though, Strong as Hagyr
