Thank you for B-534 IV

Been flying the B-534 IV a bit on and offline. Thanks to whoever put the work into it. I like the look, the sound and the way it flies. Also it has a very interesting history.

S!

Ok, I will take this one personally. Thanks. :)

I have come up with the idea of building Avia B-534 back in 2007 or 2008. The basic model has been completed by a modeller called Erbiac, but he did not plan to continue with the plane. I have organized a small fundraiser within Czech and Slovak IL-2 community to get this plane and cockpit finalized via a professional modeller. It has been then implemented by DT programmers for 4.09 release. Same story with Letov S-328.

Enjoy.

Blast from the past?

The Avia B-534 has been a fun addition. Done some dogfighting in it against some other biplanes and it's great fun!

Just remember to apply plenty of down-trim

PS - the bullet link animations are splendid.

LOL. Jutocsa = is the one who modelled Avia and Letov. I didn't know he was still around. :-)

Any more excellent works coming our way? :)

As simple as it gets and yet a highly efficient ammo counter still makes me chuckle!

Im afraid only my pet project that will interest noone. But will make a nice addition to the Hungarian-Slovakian mini-war, the WM-21 Sólyom. Im researching the plane at the moment, for different reasons than Il-2, one stage is to be a sketchy low poly model, and Martin asked my why dont I make it to Il-2 standard and in fact thats a good idea.

I just have to gather all the Fokker CV data available, make a lot of educated guess as this plane is based on the licence-build fokkers, and it might be even flyable in the future :)

Very cool! An aircraft I know nothing about.

On Battlefields1 we have a Slovakia/Hungary mini-scenario. It's not very realistic right now as we have only the Avia B.534 and the Cr.42 as a stand in for the Cr.32 but it's quite an interesting setup.
