Sadly it appears like the disk is dying slowly and will have to be replaced.

More information when available.

The dying disk served us well. May it rest easy in disk Heaven.

We hope to have the new disk installed by tomorrow.

Out of interest, how old was the disk and what will you replace it with - SSD?

RAID-1 or RAID-5 would be even better for reliability

The server is not ours. We pay a hosting company for the hardware and bandwidth.
There might be RAID configurations available but they will be more expensive and I think we can all live without the server for a couple of days while is being rebuilt.

I am not so sure if I really want to wait so long. After some break I just started to be quite enthusiastic about the CLOD and ATAG dream team again. ;)
