to be honest..if you haven't flown an RC model before, get help from an experienced model flyer. Check out local model flying clubs, they will be pleased to help you.

Chances of success otherwise are slim.

What I did was I built a 2 meter RC glider and tossed it off a hill a bunch of times. Thats how I learned how to fly an airplane. Then I started using a high-start and thermalling it. After a bout a year of that a bought an ARF trainer with tricycle gear, and just took off. Then came the Tail dragger cub. I have had my crashes, but I went about learning RCs by myself and it wasn't too big of an ordeal. The glider is a good way to start out, it was for me atleast.

I think I was throwing the plane into the wind .. unlike a real air craft .. .. going with the wind ... testing my theory soon as it's charged up again .. live and learn .. not being so buzz this time might help he he Trying it with wheels on too ....

into wind is correct! gives you higher airspeed at launch..

Same for landing...land into wind = lower ground speed = less damage when you pile in :grin:
