i feel so fine and healthy as i KNOW i know nothing for sure

ive had just a reflection of how truly im totally insecure about the ultimate nature of things

the modern world as usual as twisted that deep saneness of realizing you know nothing for sure to oh we know so much we cant grasp it all

well youve been a very good influence for me when i was getting too sure things are not what they seem

i hope to be a good influence for you into thinking about that maxima and dont get absoloutly, insanly, convinced everything its as it seems

maybe that thrill of uncertainty is what makes life fun :)

Ive been telling you that all along...

Sternjaeger II 05-07-2012 11:21 PM

..you can't really help it, can you Raaaid? Have a look back at this forum room and see how much of your personal rambling is there.. I thought you said you'd be more measured in your posts?

raaaid 05-08-2012 12:27 AM

so you think i only know i know nothing means our knowledge is so vast we can only slighly grasp it

i was just giving my interpretation of an ancient quote

why dont you stay only in general discussion if you dislike so much ot

Sternjaeger II 05-08-2012 01:11 AM

Because this is the Pilots' Lounge, not Raaaid's Lounge.

Didn't you admit recently to 'not flying Cliffs of Dover' because your computer can't cope?
That makes you not a pilot, so how come you're allowed in the lounge? Raaaid flies the sim, or plays the game, so fair play to him.

hahaha it's not my computer that can't cope, it's more me really ;)
Fortunately RoF and the modded IL-2 1946 fill the void quite well for now, not to mention the actual flying I do (when the waterworks here in the UK will come to an end that is...)..

Now Dutch, do you really want to go down this way?

ATAG_Dutch 05-08-2012 01:43 AM

What way is that then?
