How Do I make A Spiral Spinner
 

Hi all as the title says I'm looking to make a spiral spinner sets but the only problem is i cant make head nor tail of how the spinner is wrapped, its kinda odd.

The main parts of the skin appear to be layed vertically ontop of the model but the spinner doesnt follow that rule i think its wrapped horizontally so how do i paint a spiral spinner?

I couldn't find one anywhere so I had to make it myself :)

This might help you to see where the spinners pieces are when moving, and when stationary.

Makes sense to me now, dude that must have taken ages to create that. I have a lot of different swirls in bmp format that I will pm to you, good for PS users.

Epic this is turning into a great thread, everyone should post there Spirals in here for everyone to use.

EDIT * Also a point to note the rotating spiral must spiral the opposite way compared to the small one next to it on the skin I.E select flip horizontal in PS*

Yes, you can see the opposite rotation of the spiral and the result, in the first two pics I posted.

I had tried to do one a while ago, but I could never get the spiral to quite link up. I figured I had spent enough time messing around in photoshop so I just called it 'good enough' and left it glitched.
