Men of war assault squad issue
 

hey guys..my friend bought the game last night from steam..it worked for 2 hrs and now he is getting this error...


Main executable has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available


Any idea what to do??? cause he has tried all possible things that we can come up with..

e.g. Reinstall the game, update drivers..still no luck

Moving the thred, no one will help yea with Man of war issue in cryostasis forum ;p

hmm...cause i thought i had posted it in men of war forums :P

anyway...you can move it to another place...as long as someone can help me :P

I don't know if this will help but it is worth a try. In your steam game library, right click Men of War: Assault Squad in the list of games and click on Properties in the bottom of the roll down menu. In the window that pops up click the tap named LOCAL FILES and then click the button named VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME CACHE... Wait for it to complete the verification and the try starting the game again.

Other than that you can try running the game as admininistrator if you are using windows. To do that go to your "c:\program files\steam\steamapps\common\men of war assault squad" folder and find the mow_assault_squad.exe right click it and click Properties from the roll down menu. Press the tap named Compatibility and then you check/tick the small box at the bottom with the text: Run this application as an administrator. Press OK when you have done that and try starting the game again as usual in steam.
