Some of you will remember our first multisquad Historical Campaign from last year.
Well every day we wait the performance patch draws ever closer and we have not been idle.
We literally put in hundreds of hours of research, mission building, scripting and forum work!
We finished (bar some minor but time consuming testing) the 7 missions that made it through out of 10 candidates.
The campaign will feature 7 Historical missions -some famous, some not so famous.
We hope to run 1 per week every week on the most convient day and time for as many as possible.

We still need to do a stress test for the server to see if it can take so many aircraft! All bets are on the performance patch!

Here are some screenshots from the campaign to wet your appetite - Enjoy!

Very very nice, looking forward to it! Events like these are fantastic for the game - I finally bit the bullet and joined in online gameplay after seeing an ATAG event advertised on the forums one weekend a while back and have been hooked ever since! This sounds awesome, just hope my computer can handle it!

You need to be flying with a squadron in order to take part.

We are happy to accommodate any pilot wishing to do that, allied or axis, with a view to them joining the squadron.

Careful now... Thats not worded very well. We all know what happened last time.

Here is the rough draft of what is actually happening with public players:

Public players may participate, however due to the system of Radar for Allied (only Squadron leaders can access ground control) and the secretive nature of the briefs for blue - Public players must get a sponsor to take part in our campaigns. If you do not have some kind of connection with a squadron in the case of allied you will in all likelyhood not be able to find the action. Blue briefs will be top secret and access will not be given to just anyone.

We have nothing against public players.

This is not a pressgang approach to recruitment.

Public players do not have to join Squadrons as a member to fly with them.

Public players do not have to register on their squadrons forums.

Public players who are consistantly abscent from missions will be removed.

Please dont burn me at the stake. This is a draft.
