Any aircraft Enthusiast from UK that can help?

Hi,

I live in Lincolnshire England, last summer I saw a Lancaster and a week or so later a spit and hurrie in formation on a couple of accasions last summer really low over my house. Today with the good whether Ive seen a tiger moth twice...

Does anyone know where these are flying from? I know there is a Lancaster at spilsby but it only taxis. Ive tried googling it but cant find anything.

Thanks for the help and if I get chance Ill go over and get some snaps...

Regards,
F.

I lived in Lincolnshire myself a few years back and used to see the BoB flight a lot during the summer - going to and from RAF Coningsby for airshows I suppose. Usually the Lancanster, + a Spit and a Hurricane. No German birds as I recall.

It's the sound I remember the most - fantastic noise.

I played a lot of cricket back then and on those rare sunny summer days, playing cricket and then getting a flypast from the BoB Memorial Flight - life doesn't get much better than that!!!!
