Guys doing some ACM in Yak-50's http://vimeo.com/freezer/videos/sort:date

I spent about 20 hours in Yak-52 here in Russia and can say it is ***** scary compared to flying CloD  Pretty sensational gut feeling while spinning down LOL. http://www.ivask.ru/content/rus/mnu/238/F3_1280.jpg

Not in the same ball park but when I did my gliding course as an air cadet I couldn't understand why the instructor chose to do the spinning recovery training directly over the hangars. Watching those roofs go round and round was a bit scary too. Fortunately recovery was easy.

Did you find yourself craning your neck around trying to keep the plane in view with your track IR? When that didn't work I found myself moving my mouse about. Agree about relflections and sunlight in slight scratches. Interesting to compare how easy or difficult it is to see external plane compared to CloD.

Mmm, I've flown the Yak-52 too and I really love that plane... It has a lot of WWII feeling if you scale down the weight and horsepower ;) The problem is that the real warbirds are the same size but a lot heavier and a lot more HP so it's hard to compare. But when you fly the Yak you feel like you're a WWII fighter pilot :) Did an Abracadabra in the Yak-52, awesome manouvre!
