I guess it's still too complicted for implementation, if I remebered corectly Viikate was ''in charge'' of this.

This is still planed and our original idea was to release it as a part of night fighting patch. It turned out that big theme based patches are not practical for us and that we should release smaller patches but more often. I expect that radar will be in one of the patches that are planed for this year.

Yes, night missions would be great!
I think for night flights it needs fighter-ground communications, board radars, flare bombs (for target's illumination), flare markers (for target's marking) and so on...
As I know, some things are already in game, like Lorenz system and radio beacons & direction-finders..
