x52 throttle standalone
Hi,
do you happen to know if X52 throttle should work as a standalone controller? I bought one recently and it doesnt work. I dont know why... Have a good day, Mikolaj ps. I pm'ed some of you guys and SEE suggested to post this question as a thread |
Dont think it will.
I have an X52 and the throttle portion plugs into the stick portion with a six pin plug, then the stick plugs into the computer with a USB. So they have to be plugged in together Knuckles |
X-65?
I wonder if its the same for the X-65...I like the throttle but I couldnt do the stick that doesnt move. With that said CH Products needs to make a dual throttle for ww2 prop sims!

Too bad all the sticks out there look like they came out of F-16 errrrr

Knuckles: mine has USB cable with plug and PS/2 like connector for joystick. I've read that X52 throttle should work without joystick and it makes sense to me.

Ahhhh I stand corrected
The USB cable comes out of the Throttle NOT the stick My Bad Knucks |
I just plugged in my throttle with the stick disconnected and the throttle works alone.

X52 throttle looks like it is designed very well. I used CH throttle but it was too big and it lacked all the wheels that could be mapped as trimmers/pitch/mixture. So I am left with broken thing. I will try to get money back from the guy that sold me this faulty x52 throttie. Hope lost :(
