Newbie question - hosting a MP sessio
 

Hey all,

I'd like to play with hosting a multiplayer session on my PC to see if my rig can handle it.

First up is this working in the game at this point, or do i need to have a dedicated server set up?

Also can anyone help out whith how to do this so that is is visable to other users? Do I need to open ports or anything like that?

I dont suppose there is a simple guide out there for this? I guess these are my baby steps towards hosting a dedicated server.. :-)

There is a guide above your post.

You do not have to make it dedicated. You can also host a temporary server from the GUI, but dedi would be more stable I guess.
