Introducing Airwarfare Blogs

We have introduced a blogging system that was trialled at our pilots-lounge website. I have posted some demo blogs to show some of the capabilities.

The blogs are fully featured, offering editing and formatting of text, image and video blogs.

Members Blogs

Some suggested uses include a skinners blog to display your skins and downloads, files can even be downloaded from the blog rather than through the usual downloads system. Squad pages, developers blogs, pilots diaries, campaign diaries, the possibilities are unlimited.

Have a look at the demo section to see some of the features and start your own personal page today.

Team Blogs

You can easily have more than one blogger assigned to specific team blogs. Our administrators can configure themes and access controls for specific bloggers and teams.

Integration

Integrates with Facebook comments, Intense Debate, Disqus, Jomcomment, Jomsocial, Jcomments, RSComments, Alpha User Points, Feedburner and many more.

Indeed, the birth (or rebirth :)) of a great place for CoD!
Thank you Gamekeeper!

If the take up is good I will introduce more social features like chat and social streaming (The Stream) as in Pilots Lounge.

This software will help squads and small groups of people to collaborate in projects like organising and promoting meets, working on projects like map, campaign building etc etc.

'The Stream' will allow visitors to see what is happening in all areas of the site, News, Blogs, Forums, videos and images all streamed on one page making it easy to keep up to date with what is going on.

Although growth is slow, I think community support for this game will improve over time and the demand will become sufficient to make these additions worthwhile.
A blog post by 5./JG27Rudelmann and the positive replies on this forum are a good sign :)
