nVidia control panel and Launcher.

I don't know if anyone else has this, I haven't noticed a thread, but Launcher.exe has decided to stick in my nVidia control panel. Even after a complete shut down it is still in the available list of apps. I haven't played with it much yet but first impression seems to be it is able to increase the AA in CloD but still without transparency. The ariel wires are still dashes but there seems to be lot more of them. Perhaps others can have a look and see if it is just my imagination?

I had to add the launcher manually to the list in the nvidia cp and setting AA in there does not seem to have any effect for me.

What driver version are you using? 270.xx whql here, didn't like the drivers after that very much, but I might try the new beta driver some time soon.

I was using 280.26 driver and have just installed latest beta 285.36. Like I said, it was mainly the fact that Launcher.exe is now appearing in nVidia control panel and any changes made to the settings are sticking and are still there even after a shut down and reboot. Before, I was like everyone else, I could load Launcher.exe but it would disappear after the control panel was closed.

What I am not sure about is whether the settings are actually working in game. If they are then the effects are probably marginal as even with everything set to maximum the fps are barely affected. But things seem to be better rendered. Cockpits and wings seem sharper, distant aircraft do not breakup and remain recognisable further out and arial wires seem better. Unfortunately I don't have any before and after screenshots.

Just wondering if anyone else had the same.
